LEARN
For the past 25 years I have facilitated workshops and taught in informal education settings. I have worked with adults, children, youth; in rural and urban settings; in organizations and universities, in Latin America and the United States.
For the past 10 years I have taught in universities in the US and Ecuador. My classes have been on human rights & the rights of nature, women’s and gender studies, activist & feminist qualitative research methods. They have been in-person, online, and study abroad. The feminist theory of intersectionality and the knowledge that human beings are part of nature are at the center of all my teaching, as are my political and ethical commitments.
My current teaching emphasis is on the intersection between human and nature’s rights; violence, trauma and healing; and activist research methods. If you are interested in me teaching in formal or informal educational settings, please contact me.
